Damova Author

Hi there, this is the part where I start writing in 3rd person as if I barely know the guy I'm talking about... me. Damova is an Italian millennial raised on everything from Taoist philosophy to Dune's endless sand, which actually explains both his existential dread and his love for dark stories. He also spent years as a tabletop RPG Game Master, a passion that taught him to build entire worlds for people who then immediately ignore the plot. It's also why he has more unfinished lore than finished books. He lived a bit in the magical island of Ireland, where he worked in localization and learned pro-level self-pity that really worsened his writer's imposter syndrome. In 2024 he took a professional course in Literary Editing, which means he could tell you why your manuscript doesn't work while his sits unfinished. Then, in 2026 he published his debut work REMISSION, a sci-fi psychological horror about a doctor, a deadly planet, and the very bad decisions that brought them together. Since he's great at procrastinating, but also at piling up projects and work-in-progress, he periodically(-ish) writes on DAMOVA'S CHAOTIC DESK, a Substack where he post speculative short stories and some insights. He's currently working on the nth unfinished project, while wondering if Ridley Scott to call for adaptation. He hasn't yet.
